Potatothon Gleening at Peter Guichon Farm

Food Bank potato inventory has been replenished by the efforts of Brian Coe, Vickie Sangster and the Rotary gleening crew. Brian and Vickie were joined by Joan Hansen, David Smith, Sherrie Jamison and new Rotarian, Ginny Lowood. Approximately 500 lbs of red and white nugget potato seconds were packed and delivered to the Ladner Food Bank in record time. Many thanks to local farmer, Pete Guichon, who donated the potatoes. This supply should last the Food Bank for 3-4 weeks. Then we will do it again!
