Avenues of Service
- Club Service providing service to the Rotary club to enable it to run efficiently in the spirit of fellowship;
- Vocational Service putting high standards of conduct into practice in the business and professional lives of Rotarians;
- Community Service identifying needs in the Rotary club's community and addressing these needs with service projects;
- International Service working for international understanding and peace by promoting goodwill between all people.
- Youth Service recognizing the importance of empowering youth and young professionals through leadership development programs such as Rotaract, Intercat, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, and Rotary Youth Exchange.
The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise, and, in particular to encourage and foster:
- The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service
- High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying by each Rotarian of his/her occupation as an opportunity to serve society
- The application of the ideal of service by every Rotarian to his/her personal, business, and community life
- The advancement of international understanding, good will and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional men and women united in the ideal of service
