Youth Programs
Rotary International is proud to sponsor programmes to benefit the young people of the world. The Rotary Club of Tsawwassen is a great believer in this aspect of service to our community and there are many ways that the leaders of tomorrow can participate today.
Examples of the opportunities for participation include:
Long Term Youth Exchange:
Where a high school student is sent to another country to study the language and culture for an entire school year

Short Term Exchange Program (STEP):
A short term, international exchange programme where two high school students exchange a stay in the other’s country during the summer months.

Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA):
An intensive training program for community youth leaders. Young people chosen for their leadership potential attend an all-expenses-paid seminar to discuss leadership skills and to hone those skills through practice.

Adventures in:
Where we introduce youth to diverse career opportunities by sponsoring high school students from our area to a Rotary Adventure program.

Interact:
Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club for high school students. The program gives young people an opportunity to participate in fun, meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills and meeting new friends. Consider joining the Interact Club at SDSS.
