Water Fountain Project Provides A Unique Fred Gingell Park Addition
Project Committee members Dan Patching and Ian Bourhill introduced our club's latest undertaking; a unique water fountain slated for Fred Gingell Park. With the assistance of the artist sketch we were presented with some of the design details of the project.

- Four outlets on three levels accommodate adults, children, dogs and water bottle filling
- Dimensions are 80" high 50" wide 8" deep
- Cost of $47,000 will be shared 50-50 with the municipality
- Work in kind donations also play a part ie plumbing
- High quality chlorinated and sediment free municipal water supply
- Push button control keeps hands away from water flow
- Run off water flows to drained basins
- Park water fountain use grows as plastic bottle use declines
- Beach stair climbers will appreciate the water station
- Stair climbing exercisers will also have a counter station
- Granite construction expected to minimize graffiti
- Completion planned for April
