Rotary Parade at Tsawwasen Sun Festival

 

The Parade

On Monday, August 3, the Rotary Parade returned to the Tsawwassen Sun Festival, bringing together local organizations, performers, volunteers and neighbours for a sunny community celebration. Presented by the Rotary Club of Tsawwassen, the parade is a longstanding Sun Festival tradition: a chance to wave hello, celebrate the people and groups that make South Delta special, and share a little summer fun with the community.

Thank you to every participant, volunteer, spectator and organizer who helped make the 2026 parade possible. Your energy along the route is what gives this event its character year after year.

 

The Route

The 2026 parade began at 53A Street and Saratoga Drive, travelled south on 53A Street, east along 12 Avenue, and then south on 56 Street to its finish at 8A Avenue. From staging and judging in the morning through the final entry crossing the finish line, the route carried the parade through the heart of Tsawwassen and gave families plenty of places to take in the celebration.

The Community

The Rotary Club of Tsawwassen is proud to be part of a community that shows up for one another, at the parade and throughout the year. We look forward to seeing you again at a future Rotary Parade.

Rotary Sun Festival Parade Registration Deadline July 24th

 

The Rotary Club of Tsawwassen is once again sponsoring the annual Rotary Parade at the Tsawwassen Sun Festival on Monday August 5, 2019. The Rotary Parade typically attracts over 12000 excited spectators from across the Lower Mainland and Washington State. The theme for the 2019 Rotary Parade is “Celebrate BC Day”.

 

Monday August 5th, 2019 - Start time 11:00 am 

  • The Rotary Parade Route is from 16th Avenue southbound on 56th to Winskill Park. 

  • Registration Desk open at 8:00 am, judging to commence at 9:30 am.

 

Please remember Your float must have some entertainment value.

 

To register online please follow the instructions and complete your registration at https://sunfestparade.ca/registrationForm.php you will receive a confirmation email once submitted. Once registered you will receive any updates as to the parade. The parade instructions, parade requirements and a map showing the parade route from the staging area will be sent out to all registered entrants after the deadline. The parade registration deadline is Wednesday July 24th.
